I find the new Google concept about “helping our friends to make the switch to Gmail” pretty funny. I have personally “helped” many of my friends to switch to Gmail, since Gmail’s launch.

In my opinion, Gmail is way better than the other services out there, but whatever your email program of choice is, you must admit Google always has original ways of promoting it’s services.

I guess that people who persist in using Yahoo! or Hotmail just haven’t been told about Gmail yet, hence the need for an intervention. Because quite frankly, there is no way someone who starts using Gmail ever wants to go back to using his old email provider, that is certain.
